Coppell Residential Home Sales For December 2016 Are Lower 3.9%

In December 2016 there was a dip of 3.9% in the number of recorded homes sold in contrast to the same point in time last year. There were 49 recorded homes sold total this month. Year to date in Coppell housing sales recorded was at 590, a climb of 5.9% from December 2015. In Coppell the number of projected residential housing sales in December 2016 experienced an improvement of 8%, with 55 projected total. Year to date there were 596 projected housing units sold in Coppell, which was an uptick of 7%. In Coppell the number of newly listed units this month was higher 4.5%, with 23 newly listed units this month. Year to date there were 775 new properties in Coppell, which was an uptick of 10.9%. In Coppell the number of listings under contract this month was at 33 total, an increase of 10% from last year. Year to date there were 596 contract listings, which was an improvement of 4.4% in contrast to 2015. This month there was a rise of 6.4% in approximate months supply of inventory. There were 1.6 approximate months supply of inventory total this month. This month there was an uptick of 12.7% in homes for sale on the market. There were 80 homes for sale on the market total this month. In December 2016 there were 42 days on market until sale, which was a drop of 24.1% from 2015. In December 2016 the total percent of list price received reached 96.8, a hike of 0.4%. The number of percent of original list price received in Coppell year to date saw a dip of 0.5%, with 97.6 percent of original list price received this year.
