Skyline Honolulu Looms on The Horizon as Developer Moves Forward.

Prospect Properties and PBR Hawaii & Associates, the developer of a long-planned condominium project at 944 Prospect Street near Punchbowl Crater, is moving forward with their development plans for a four-story, 40-foot condo with up to 110 units, recreation facilities and a parking structure on about 1.6-acres of land.

 

 

 

 

Honolulu-based Prospect Properties LLC has recently filed over $22 million in building permits which includes a residential condominium, parking structure, pool and recreation facilities on just over an acre and a half of land on the lower slopes of Punchbowl.

 

The project has been named Skyline Honolulu and is indicative of the views residents will enjoy from the elevated lot. The project has been on the back burner since 2007 and it's recent activity has been reported by Pacific Buisness News.

Sounds like Skyline Honolulu will change the landscape a bit. Condo developments are big here in San Francisco, too -- anywhere with limited land see upward growth.

Aloha Lottie, indeed there seems to be an ever increasing expansion of development into every nook and cranny. We need more "affordable" projects like this but at what point is too much development too much. Punchbowl is a high density area and demand is high. Mahalo for the comment!
