Little Elm Residential Property Sales For December 2016 Down 3.8%

There were 177 houses sold in December 2016, which was a down-slide of 3.8% from December last year. There was a gain of 12.6% in recorded housing units sold year to date in contrast to 2015. There were 2432 recorded housing units sold this year. This month there was an uptick of 8.1% in projected houses sold. There were 199 projected houses sold total this month. Projected real estate sales in Little Elm year to date was 2454, a hike of 13.7%. In December 2016 there were 140 newly listed houses, and this was a decrease of 9.7%. In Little Elm there was a rise of 11% in newly listed houses in the market year to date. There were 3015 newly listed houses in the market this year. Listings under contract this month in Little Elm experienced an uptick of 13% compared to last year, with 139 under a contract total. There was a gain of 10.8% in homes listed under contract year to date from 2015. There were 2431 homes listed under contract this year. The number of approximate months supply of real estate inventory this month in Little Elm saw a down-slide of 9.7%, with 1.8 months supply total. In Little Elm there was a climb of 1.7% in units for sale on the market in December 2016. There were 359 units for sale on the market total this month. This month there was a decrease of 1.5% in the number of days on market until sale compared to 2015. There were 50 days on market until sale total this month. In December 2016 in Little Elm the total percent of asking price received reached 96.1 total, a slump of 0.3%. In Little Elm the number of percent of list price received year to date had a down-slide of 0.4%, with 97.8 percent total this year.
