This month in Highland Park property sales showed a fall of 10% from the same point in time 2015, with 72 sold total. Year to date there were 854 reported houses sold in Highland Park, and this was a decline of 5.5% relative to December last year. The number of projected houses sold in December 2016 in Highland Park was 81, a climb of 1.1%. There was a down-slide of 4.5% in projected home sales year to date. There were 863 projected home sales this year. In December 2016 in Highland Park the number of new properties listed was up 1466%, with 440.0 new properties listed total this month. Year to date the number of new home listings showed no change, with 3.5 newly listed total this year. In Highland Park there were 36 listings under contract this month, which was a decline of 25% from last year. There was a decline of 7.8% in listings under contract year to date in contrast to the same month last year. There were 846 listings under contract total this year. In December 2016 there were 4.3 approximate months supply of inventory, and this was a growth of 36.1%. This month there were 306 residential properties for sale in the market in Highland Park, which was an improvement of 28.6%. Days on market until sale in December 2016 in Highland Park had a growth of 0.9% in contrast to the same month 2015, with 73 days total. This month the total percent of original asking price received saw no difference, with 92.5 percent of original asking price received total this month. Year to date percent of original list price received in Highland Park experienced a decrease of 0.8%, with 94.0 percent total this year.
