Greenwood Estates is on North Lagoon Drive. This desirable location puts you within three miles to the beach but away from beach traffic.
It has 52 condos and six townhouses in nine two story buildings that were built in 1984. Eighteen homes are waterfront on Grand Lagoon. Covered boat slips with lifts are available and they have Bay and Gulf access.
You will enjoy the immaculate tropical landscaping. There is green space between the lagoon and condos where you can enjoy the outdoors as you take in the beautiful view.
This is more than a complex, it's a community. There is a beautiful pool centrally located with plenty of space for sunning. Behind the pool is a large covered deck for relaxing out of the sun, community gatherings, or having family over for a picnic and pool party.
Currently three homes are offered from $110,000 to $165,000. The most expensive one is waterfront. That is is reasonable for a two bedroom condo on the lagoon that comes with a boat slip. Over the last three years, an average of three homes per year have sold for an average price of $87,990.
Hoa fees are moderate at Green wood Estates compared to resort complexes. The fees pay for: accounting, management, master association, BBQ Pit/Grill, dock, insurance, legal, pest control, picnic area, pool, sewer, trash disposal, cable TV, water and sewage, and groundskeeping. All this for around $350 or less depending on the unit.
