Every year the various home builders and developers of Colorado Springs gather for the Breakfast With The Builders. The Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs puts the event on as a great opportunity for REALTORS® to meet with all of the builders and get familiar with their floor plans and offerings. This year the Breakfast With The Builders was held Tuesday Feb. 8th from 8:30-11:00am at the Mortgage Solutions Financial Expo Center. The purpose of this trade show is to kick off the 2017 building and selling season. Bringing the HBA builders and developers together to meet with community REALTORS® the event is an excellent platform for those in the real estate industry to meet and network.
The event is a fun way to bring everyone together as a sort of a way to "break the ice" for professionals in supporting industries. The owners of booths set up were encouraged to participate in a theme and engage their audience. Amongst the most successful booths were Vanguard Homes, Empire Title and Classic homes. With a "Duck Hunters" theme the Empire Title booth encouraged passers-by to try for a prize and hunt a rubber-duck out of a pond with a corresponding prize. Vanguard Homes took everyone back in time with their "Grease Lightning" theme, and were giving away a TV. The most successful booths engaged their audience, captured them and found a way to retain their interest. Good REALTORS® are knowledgeable about their community. The best REALTORS® have their thumb on the changes and trends their market is experiencing.
