Three Things that are Obsolete in Real Estate...

If you have been selling real estate as long as I have then you would remember when the MLS delivered books to your office. These books contained all the new listings posted in the MLS. We would browse through these books for our buyer clients.

I could not imagine doing business today like we did back then. As I write this post I am thinking about other things in the course of doing business in Real Estate that is also becoming obsolete.

The Sunday classified section in the local papers use to be a huge way to advertise but this classified section is almost obsolete.

Are Open Houses the next thing to become Obsolete in Real Estate?

I first started my career in 1992 and I sure remember the MLS books. And you did not dare share that information with any agent not a member!

OMG those blue mls books! Real estate was more special back then because we held the book of listings!
