I have chosen to write about a very simple tech tool that I use daily and to tell you more about my live radio show which I have been doing for three years, how I started and how much it has helped me enjoy the business and share this wonderful life of real estate.
They both make me more efficient and have made me love real estate even more.
For me, each day is a new day to look forward to...who will I meet, who will I talk to, what will I learn and how can I make this industry better.
My first one is just call 'snipping tool'. So simple and so easy to use!
Started using SNIPPING TOOL last year...it is a free tool right on my PC.
I use it all the time and keep finding new ways that are helpful in my daily real estate practice and for making graphics for my blogging habit.

I can easily "snip" one item or one property or even my radio show.. like these snips, below, taken from above.
Writing a blog every day, I enjoy creating my own collages, photos and graphics. Needing these images and visuals ...this tool, for me, is perfect. So many uses for this very simple program... I continue to find new ideas every day.
My second choice for the contest is obviously my live radio show. I have been hosting every Sunday for the past three years.
When I first started in real estate, over 25 years ago, I was fascinated by listening to ALL ABOUT REAL ESTATE, a live weekly show.
I would call in to talk about the real estate topic. Before long I was an occasional guest on the show. Then I made the host, Terry Stafford, aware that if she ever wanted a Sunday off, for a special occasion or a holiday, I would make my myself available to be 'on call' for any Sunday at noon.
That's how I became a back up host. When Terry decided, after 20 years, to give up the show...she thought of me.
This is what I love doing every week.
Educate the public about real estate.
Get my active listings in front of an audience.
Announce properties that will be coming on the market.
Find special buyers for my listings.
Help buyers find unusual homes.
Announce impromptu open houses.
Congratulate friends and clients on special occasions.
Promote charitable causes.
Take calls from the general public about real estate topics.
Talk about successful transactions.
Talk about real estate challenges.
Take calls from raving fans.
Having conversations with interesting guests.
Getting my name and brand out to a large audience.
Getting new unique listings from the weekly exposure.
