Mark I posted a blog last night about our snow storm on Thursday, but after looking at your pictures I don't feel so bad about the 18" of heavy snow that we got.

Fresh newly fallen snow has the glisten of diamonds...it sparkles and shines and its bitter cold has a gentle way of warming hearts - 
I am awed by such magnificence and humbled by such beauty - !!

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint  It is beautiful but can be back braking work in removing snow .  Plus the snow has salt chemicals mixed in it .. We have been very lucky here in Philly this year

It's beautiful to look at but I feel your pain dealing with it Mark. Spring won't come soon enough to Sandpoint huh?!

I think this is the first year I have become cognizant of the necessity to find places for excess snow.  We don't get snow here in Sacramento, but highways 50 and 80 leading to Nevada from our state, have had that issue.

Mark, I see the real beauty in all that snow.  Being a native California gal I know I just could not deal with all that shoveling.  So pretty however.
