If only I had a nickel for everytime a client calls me and says, I found this home on Zillow. After much digging and prodding and then going back to local MLS only to find it is a way old listing, or never was listed, or better yet, I cannot even find anything about the property anywhere.
Yes, Zillow is always working and striving for the most up to date information, and maybe in areas the information is much more reliable as it is pulled directly from the local MLS. Not here, not yet in Denver. Unfortunately buyers are so trained either through the great marketing efforts of Zillow and other Big Box entities to search for homes there, they fail to realize if you are looking to buy a home and I am your agent, I will get you the homes to see. Look no further. NO need to go out and do your own homework, as much as I do appreciate your excitement to find your new home. The listings I send you multiple times per day, are accurate and available. Go figure. Additionally, the Denver MLS is available to the general public. So why not go straight to the source. You will not see all the information that an agent will see at www.REColorado.com you will find the most accurate and up to date information available.
What about those online home evaluations from Zillow? Well, yes they will get you in the ballpark. If you are serious about selling your home, then contact your agent and get an accurate assessment of your home value.
