The Foundry Artist Studios Presents C-Note February 23, 2017
The popular Foundry Artist Studios at the New Village Arts Theater, founded in 2009, is hosting an artists' reception and exhibit entitled C-Note on Thursday February 23 in Carlsbad Village from 5 until 8 pm.
Refreshments will be served and there will be live music! (click graphic to the right to go to their website - used with permission)
The exhibit is cleverly named C-Note because all displayed works of art are priced at $100 or less, affordable for most any budget, with a range of art that likely will capture the hearts of most viewers, whether established collectors or not.
Come explore and enjoy the many artistic talents housed at The Foundry and meet the 16 artists in residence! As an art collector I can tell you there is something very special about buying art and being able to speak with the creator, to understand the inspiration and the technique behind it. It brings a whole new meaning to the art you collect and display!
The Foundry Artist Studios is located at 2787 State Street adjacent to the New Village Arts Theater at the entrance to the train station in Carlsbad Village. There is ample free parking nearby.
If you can’t be there this Thursday, stop by for another of their Open House Receptions taking place on the 4th Thursday of each month except December. Or drop in during the day, Tuesday through Sunday, 1 to 4 pm (or when artists are present). And why not visit their Facebook Page to keep track of events and more!
I really like this gallery due to the diversity of art presented, and it’s a must-see gallery for anyone who enjoys art in the Carlsbad art scene. The Foundry was one of a number of galleries in the Carlsbad art community I felt deserved mention in this article, Art to Heart, featured in the February edition of Carlsbad Lifestyle Magazine.
