What I Love About my La Quinta Job!
Although there are many things I love about living, working, playing, and real estate in La Quinta, Ca... the single most important thing are the people I meet and who become more than clients. They become friends.
Years ago I met a young couple while working in Old Town La Quinta. We found we had quite a bit in common. Abbie was interested in real estate, and Cory was a golf pro. He was even working at the club where I began my golf career in Palm Desert. I helped them buy their first home, and then this last summer I helped them sell it and move up to a beautiful home in the Citrus Golf Club. Over the years we became friends, and she actually worked as my assistant for a period of time. They even look after our home when we are away traveling- watering the plants and taking care of our kitties. I had taken many photos of their homes and after the last closing I created notecards with their new home on them. The home was stunning and provided a beautiful subject! I wrote a blog post about note cards as a closing gift !
Early this year I was contacted by their family, and her Mom asked me to create a special gift for them utilizing the home photos. I used the enhanced home photo to create custom placemats with their home image on them... well, actually, their view.
It was so fun to create something- utilizing my photography, artistry, sewing skills and be able to share it with my special clients. Each time they use their new placemats, I know they will think of me. It doesn't get any better than that! 
What I love about my La Quinta job is the people!
