Traffic Cameras on Maryland School Buses

I think that traffic cameras can make a difference. 

I know that cameras made a difference in the UK, they installed them around villages in the UK and it causes people to slow down through the villages, or at least near the cameras. having them on board a bus I think is a good idea for student safety.

Roy, This is an idea we need tgo adopt here in texas as I see too many folks who pay no attention to stopped with signs showing school buses.

For sure this should curb the appetite of drivers who like to chance the rules of life. These are our children; we must take special care.

That's a great idea!  Just the other day a woman on Oahu was run over by a tour bus! 

I have a friend, who lost a young daughter, in an accident that involved a school bus.  The girl had exited the school bus, and was crossing the street in front of the bus, when she was hit by a car that ignored the flashing lights on the bus.  I think the traffic cameras on the Maryland school buses is a good idea.

Hi Roy.  I wish they would implement these cameras locally as well.  We have many that don't stop for school buses.

Speeding in school zones or passing a stopped school bus should be a big fine.

Wow Roy, I guess we should have this on more buses in more states.  I never heard of this before.

Love, love, love this idea. They are just starting a version of this in my county, speeding in the school zone. I know they will get rich in front of a couple schools I pass every day because nobody knows how to slow down.
