We Make A Great Team
I've been a Realtor for 13 years. I started with a big box company and it was a great place to get my feet wet. They were very supportive of new agents and their major strength was education. After 8 years, I moved to a small boutique company. It was a big change and one that didn't really work out. It lasted 2 years and then I made my final move to a mid-size, Colorado based company. I've been with Cherry Creek Properties for 3 years.
During all the time, one thing remained constant and it's the one thing that I LOVE about my job. Rich, my husband was licensed 2 years before me. When I finally got my license (that's a story for another day), he needed help. Business was growing and it was time for a "partner". We had worked together in the past so we knew it would work. We are the perfect balance of strengths and weaknesses.
Working together is what I LOVE about my job. It's great to have someone to work with as a dynamic team. Someone to talk to about strategies, marketing, lead generation, just business in general. It's even better to have someone who understands the ups and downs of the business because they are in it with you. The best thing is that I know he ALWAYS has my back. We do business the same way. We don't always think alike, but that's ok. That's another benefit. We balance each other and challenge each other.
Some husbands and wives CAN'T work together. We have found that we can't office together. We've tried. We are both loud on the phone and we like to spread out in our space. So, Rich has his office and I have mine. We work at home and our offices are at opposite ends of the house. Hey, it works!
