Donna, that is a grand reason to love what you do! You made me laugh about not officing together. We have a shared home office, altho he's not here really, except on weekends using it for a couple of his businesses. He is one of the those hunt&peck typists and when he's calculating numbers, he makes rythmic (and very loud) punching noises over and over again--drives me nuts!

Someday, my hubby  and I plan to do the very same thing. We've invested together over the years in a lot of properties and he's passionate about real estate and loves to talk with me about it. Like you two, the balance would be there. I'm 7 years older than he is, but no one thinks that, so maybe I can last til he's ready! 

Working together requires complete trust that the other is doing thier job. 

I so relate to your post... Rich and I worked together for 37 years and we had a great time... We are as different as night and day but as you say... the perfect balance... enjoyed your post and hope you continue to love the wonderful world of real estate..

Thanks for an enjoyable read. What a treat that must be to work with Rich and to complement each other, even though sharing an office is not in the cards! You do what works, right? And you get exercise walking back and forth between offices!

Donna, my husband and I "office together" but sometimes we have to step out into the other room to finish a phone call.  We've worked together for 13 years and I can't imagine it any other way. :-) Kasey
