Home sales increased according to the Red Hook NY real estate market update forJanuary 2017. There were 5 sales, 2 more than in January 2016. The sale price to list price of these sales came in at 92 percent.
Compared to January 2016 both median and average prices fell. The median price last January was $ 330,000 which was much higher than the $ 227,500 this January. There was a similar trend for the average sold, $361,667 in January 2016 and $192,480 in January 2017
Days on market increased by 11 days to 108 . Hopefully this trend will reverse.
