Here We Go Again!

While perusing the our centralized Listing, HAR.com I noticed it again! A well known Realtor posted a picture of a restroom with a tub full of cat liter boxes. I did note that it was very clean but still it is not the best picture to take.

I am thinking the owners refused to remove them for the pictures of their home. Hopefully, the Realtor told them those pictures would surely lose them some showings as some people may have been turned off by this.

People should listen to their agents when it comes to selling their homes. We have lots of experience and knowledge!

Business CardOh by the way; if you know of anyone who is thinking about buying or selling a home who would appreciate my level of expertise and service; just give me call me with their name and number. I'll be happy to follow up with them for you. I work aggressively for my clients and I am always there for them, long after the transaction is done.

Sussie, If I can't show a room in its best light, that photo never makes it on MLS.  And making sure potential buyers don't know about cats and dogs in the house is another must for how we present a listing.

Sussie it kills me when people have their cars in the picture, or Grammy sitting in the chair or Grampy in the garden and the list goes on and on... when I have a listing a professional photographer comes and shows the home in the best light possible.... no underwear, no dishes in the sink, no cat litter boxes and no poop in the back yard from Fido and I am a Pet Friendly Realtor in Beverly Hills, Endre

I once had a listing that had five small dogs....you can not imagine the amount of dog poop in that back yard.  There was literally no where to place your foot where shit was not!

Oh most Realors in my city read my stuff but never comment! LOL!  I know they do because every now and then one of them will say, "Oh I read that piece you wrote".

Hi Sussie - I have seen some of those terrible pictures.  A good agent should take care of that.

I would have moved the box out of the tub for the pictures and figured out what to do about it later.

Bad mls pictures are a pet peeve of mine. Agents can do better in a lot of cases, but sometimes our sellers don't make it easy on us.

Ugh... cat boxes are a real deterrent, even if they are clean.  I hope I never have to have one again.
