Why I Love My Job As A Fort Worth Realtor
It's the end of February and time to complete another Active Rain contest. What I love about my job is the perfect topic this month. I've been told, "If your doing something you love it's not a job." I agree! This is my career, a lifestyle, one that I do enjoy. Of course I have good days and bad days.
Why do I love this relationship? First of all, I get to plan my schedule. This is one of my favorite perks. I didn't have this opportunity before - I had to work a predetermined schedule. Don't get me wrong, my previous career was fun and challenging.
My schedule now allows me flexibility allowing me to meet with clients, network and grow my business. The best part of my career is matching home buyers and home sellers. I love viewing properties! I love talking with clients and finding out exactly what they want in their new home. Viewing a variety of homes and finding the perfect match makes my sometimes hectic day and long hours all worth while.
I love working with homeowners that are wanting or needing to sell their property. There are many reasons a family will list their home. After the paperwork is completed and the agreement is signed my favorite activities begin. I love marketing a new listing. This is one of my favorite challenges!
Working with clients that have challenges - Making their dreams come true... This is what I love about my job / career / lifestyle it's all the same. It's a day to day roller coaster.
Besides working with buyers and sellers I enjoy networking with other agents, title representatives, loan officers and the list continues. The amount of detailed work that happens behind the scene for both clients is often unknown.
The best part of my career and the most exciting is once the match is made, paperwork is complete and we have the final walk thru. After this we arrive at the title company - both parties finish signing the contracts. Keys are passed from one homeowner to the other. I also enjoy the friendships I have now with past clients in our community.
