Carmel-by-the-Sea was blessed with an incredible day today. It's been awhile since we have had such a day, what with all those winter storms this past month. But that was a good thing, it brought the drought to an end--and then some.
So today, people were out in droves enjoying outdoor seating at restaurants. Below is a photos of the Court of the Fountains courtyard and, above, the Plaza Shopping Center.
And then at the end of the day, the absolutely stunning full moon over Su Vecino Court where my Rothwell Realty office is located. I'm on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the outdoor seating area of Cultura Comida y Bebida Restaurant (which recently replaced Jack London's) with its high end latin cuisine that people love. In the evenings, you can really see the gaslight heaters.
Below, people enjoying the afternoon at Su Vecino Court's Cultura restaurant. And that's my office upstairs!
In case you are wondering what else is in Su Vecino Court (on Dolores between 5th & 6th), to the right of the photo, don't know if you can see the sign, is the Carmel Cashmere store and, towards the street, James Rieser Fine Art Gallery. Across the way in the courtyard (on the right of the photo) is the Steven Whyte Sculpture Gallery. Under my office is Sabine Adamson Antiques with its French Country antiques.
