This morning I read a post from a realtor expressing her frustration on how things are falling apart after putting so many hours of work in her Real Estate transaction. I started comparing her frustration with this International Designer who puts together 8 people to create one dress that takes 20 days to complete while any other designers will hire one person to make one dress. This dress is a work of art and symbolizes her talent and hardwork. She definitely sets herself in a different level of uniqueness and branding. Talk about her love and passion in her work. This dress was designed with so much intricacy and attention to detail with her design. I have never seen this designer say anything that would show any kind of frustration but a lot of happiness completing her dress. Working with many people to reach a successful project or transaction is a great skill.
My experience in putting people together to do a business event or a fashion show is a lot of communication and collaboration to make it successful. This photo was taken at the Style Fashion Week in Los Angeles. It takes a village to produce this kind of events and one filipino lady is in charge of it. She has mastered her skills of communication and has power of influence with people.
For Real Estate agents, putting together a succesful transaction with your client, mortgage loan officer, home inspector, title, escrow, and even construction workers is a great challenge but if you let your love and passion overcome your frustration, you will have the power to influence and inspire people.
I know it is difficult...I have been there... I know that this business is one of the hardest careers for women but stay focus and pay attention to detail. Always motivate and inspire the people you work with and you will see your own masterful work can create magical experience.
