Two condo projects now under construction near the historic Howard Theatre will cover nearly an entire block where T Street and Wiltsberger Street meet in Shaw DC.

1812-1827 Wiltberger is the repurposing of the one-time Holzbeierlein Bakery Warehouse to a new, mixed-use building with nine condominiums, ground floor retail and two levels of office space. The project is located opposite the Howard Theatre, just a few yards from the planned “Cecelia” project at 608-618 T Street. The two projects largely transform the short block.

608-618 T is a new, 7 story mixed-use condominium project incorporating two T Street buildings. The project, expected to be named “The Cecelia,” will offer 59 to 79 residential units with penthouses along with ground floor retail, service and arts uses. The development is located just a few yards from the planned Holzbeierlein Bakery mixed-use project at 1812-1827 Wiltberger Street.
