Good morning Joan. I'm sure your heart rate went up a few beats when you answered that call.
Makes good sense Joan. This would be an expensive lesson for some perceived privacy.
Good morning Joan Cox ,
I'm so glad that is all it turned out to be and glad you are an agent that picky up your phone!! If you hadn't they would have gone in and probably done some damage. Barbara Todaro is right..that's called "dodging a bullet".....
I'm glad it wasn't something worse, Joan Cox . We had three homes burn down in the last week, which is a lot for a small town of 9,000!
Wow Nathan Gesner! What started the fires? How sad...-Kasey
Good morning Joan. Never had it happen to me, thank goodness! Enjoy your day!

Good morning, Joan -- Yikes! I can't say I've ever had that a call from the Fire Department but I have heard from concerned neighbors. I'm glad things worked out well.

Bullet dodged for your seller Joan, yikes! I bet your heart was beating a little faster when you heard who was on the other end of the phone.

James, you definitely got that right, I think my heart missed a few beats and held my breathe until they told me why they were calling.
Gabe, I definitely will bring this up when a homeowner says they don't want a sign.
Barbara, definitely and glad it was just the CO detector, and my seller was happy too.
Dorie, it definitely could have gone a different way, and was really glad it was a faulty CO detector.
Michael, I too have had calls from neighbors stating there were buyers and/or agents circling a home. But never the fire department.
Sheila, it was definitely scary last night, but glad everything worked out.
Joan, I just cannot think of a good call that starts with ....this is the Fire Department, the Police, or the FBI...lol

Joan-Glad this fire call ended in a positive note. Hot time in the old town is not what one wants on a vacant listing.

Hi Joan - that is certainly scarey. Glad you had a lockbox and it is good to have notification.

Joan
It's always good to take the call from a fire department on our listings.
Good luck and success.

That would have been a nerve wracking call to receive! So glad it was only a detective detector, but what momentary stress! -Kasey
Good one! I hope this gets featured... maybe it did already. Good thing you had a lock box too.
Good think you answered the phone call... and good you had a lock box and good they didnt knock it down... because they dont reimburse for that!!! And when they knock it down it is UGLY!
The listing agent called me on Monday. Pls cancel WED closing. The home burned down yesterday.
What? I went over there and found the kitchen was on fire. The house is about 100 ft across from a fire station.

Have a great day and a most productive week.
