MidiCi Pizza, Kissimmee FL Not Your Normal Pizza House
During our stay in Florida, we were fortunate to experience a pizza lunch like no other we have ever had. There was no sit and place an order and wait for it to be delivered from behind the kitchen walls. This is fresh cooked pizza with all fresh ingredients and done within 2 minutes.
The cooking area is centered to the restaurant and all the ingredients are on display behind glass for patrons to select their toppings and then have a seat while it is cooked.
It is not just a pizza, however. The secret to the meal is to get the sides selected such as a fresh garden salad with personally selected vegetables or fresh fruit, melon wrapped in fresh thin cut prosciutto, and sit to enjoy before ordering the pizza. With an average cooking time of 2 minutes in a wood fired specially designed oven with temps reaching 900oF it doesn't take long to prepare a 6 slice personal pie.
The restaurant was large, bright and aerie and the wait staff attentive to clearing off the tables. It is not the type of pizza one might get in a per-slice location, or the type of pizza that is delivered to the door to be eaten in front of the tube. The ambience of the store and the fresh ingredients of the pizza as well as the delivery to the table fresh out of the ovens warrants a visit.

This is a franchise with independently owned locations just reaching here on the East Coast. In addition to the store in Kissimmee there is also a MidiCi Pizza in in Ft Lauderdale and a store to be opened in August in West Palm Beach, FL
