My favorite weekly stop is a small specialty market called Lino's Market In Durham, Connecticut.   Every week either myself or my wife go to Lino's for all our deli, meat, catering, and specialty food needs.  Lino's also has the fantastic prepared food, soups, and the BEST chicken cutlet sandwiches you will have ever eaten. 

Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. opened in 1994 at 472 Main Street in Durham, Ct. by Pasqualino Aparo (Lino) an American Italian and his family, and it is not unusual to see Lino at the stove doing much of the cooking.

From the outside Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. may not seem like much, but OH how looks can be deceiving.  Once you step inside you will be treated to one of the best deli's I have ever been to.  Everything is cooked fresh daily by Lino, and staff.  Everything is great there but my favorites are their chicken cutlets, and their EXTRA sharp cheddar cheese from England.  I also love their stuffed cherry peppers with provolone cheese and prosciutto, and their stuffed large green olives with provolone cheese.  When it comes to soups, Lino's claim chowder is amazing, it is the best around.  But all of the other soups are excellent as well, and he always seems to have a new soup for me to try.

Soups are not the only surprise I regularly encounter at Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. on a weekly bases.  Lino constantly has something new sitting on the counter that I just have to try, and am never disappointed.   Lino's has all the different cuts of meat, pork, and chicken I am looking for.  Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. will also cut and trim whatever meat, pork, or chicken I am looking for, just the way you want it.

Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. can also cater any size function.  I have used Lino's for Broker Open's, as well as family events, and may I recommend the "Chicken Marsala" or "Chicken Picante" along with roasted potatoes, and seasoned green beans.  When I was part of the Middletown High School Booster Club, Lino catered all our banquets, and everything was always perfect.

Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. is also the place to go to get your Thanksgiving Turkey.  Lino gets his turkeys from local turkey farms, so they are fresh and OH so good.  I have gotten my Thanksgiving Turkey from Lino's Market In Durham, Ct. for the last 16 years, and the last 10 years I followed his receipt, which includes covering the turkey with beacon.  There is only one word to describe it, WOW.

So when you are near Durham, Ct. Lino's is a MUST stop.  Once you have been to Lino's you will come back over and over again.  Just make sure you bring lots of money with you, because everything you see at Lino's Market In Durham, Connecticut you will want to buy.
