Currently Carlsbad home buyers seeking a 4-bedroom home will find 54 single family detached homes for sale in Carlsbad, in a number of different neighborhoods, and in a range of prices and sizes, from $595,000 for a 1,471 SF home built in 1977, to $4,790,000 for a beautiful 6,000 SF home built in 2004 on the 14th fairway of the famed Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in La Costa – this home was listed in 2016 for sale but did not sell and the price has been reduced.

 

The current list of 4 bedroom homes offer between 2 and 7 (5 full, 2 half) baths. Only 6 of these Carlsbad homes for sale are single story.

Jeff Dowler - it seems 4-bedrooms homes are most desirable homes in most part of the US - especially metro areas of big towns like Boston, San Diego.

Though prices are pretty high - about $600K for less than 1,500 sq ft home! That's almost 50% more than what we have in Boston suburbs.

67% being 4 bedrooms indicates a family oriented community. I guess I was surpised at this and was thinking 2 bedroom homes for retirees would be bigger.

Hi Jeff -- while it's not a huge number, it's nice to see a good level of four bedroom homes available for sale in Carlsbad including new construction. There's some very special for some people about a home that's never been occupied

4 bedroom homes are a smart investment choice, Jeff. Even if the buyer doesn't need the space right now, they might in the future. It is always nice to have an extra room to use for a hobby room or guest room.

Hi Praful Thakkar  - yep 4-bedroom homes are pretty popular and the majority of buyers want the. But the prices are pretty high with the entry level at $600K in Carlsbad and they go up quickly from there.

Joe Pryor  - 2-bedroom homes are actually pretty rare, except in 55+ communities or condos.

Hi Michael Jacobs  - plenty of people want new construction but the entry level in Carlsbad for these is in the high $700s, and that's for  3-bedroom single story.
