Hello Everyone,
As you may have noticed, I've been taking some time off of Active Rain to embark on an adventure. Over the past month, I've been putting a website together, which will feature California Real Estate Blogs by City. The concept is to direct the blogs and content directly to the consumer. I have several real estate agents that have already jumped on board in California on the project and I'm looking for more that are interested! Here's the scoop...
The domain name is: CARealEstateBlog.com
I kept the website clean, professional and simple with a clear message! (Google isn't successful for nothing!)
ALL California Cities are represented in an easy to navigate drop down box.
I just submitted a sitemap of the entire website to Google,Yahoo,MSN and other major search engines to get maximum exposure of the website and to help the crawlers find everyone that participates.
ALL Url paths are very specific (State,County,City)...The search engines are beginning to index the site and it will increase the search rankings of each individual city.
The website is already placing out on the #1 page of several searches I have performed for various cities in California, like this one with 7.8 million hits a year on Yahoo!
Each city will have 1 Real Estate Agent that has Exclusivity on the content for that city. I love Active Rain, but this helps to avoid your voice being lost amongst several other competitors in your area and makes YOU stick out!
That agent will receive ALL of the "How much is my home worth?" requests the same day they come in for their city(ies), which will provide you with immediate CMA requests. I'm a firm believer that if you provide something of value to a potential client, they are more likely to use you to list their home if they decide to move forward!
A link to your RSS feed will be included on the page below your blogs!
The website updates automatically with your blogs! This means that there is no need for double entry of your material, yet your works get out there to a larger audience that it targeted faster! If you deem a blog on Active Rain or your own personal real estate blog as "public", the blog will be posted to the California Real Estate Blog immediatly as well!
All I need is your RSS Feed and the rest will be done for you!
I currently have my company information on each of the home loan links, but I'm open to lenders participating with a DIRECT LINK to their website or any page they desire. Click on Direct Link and you can see what I'm saying. The cost will be $25/month or $250/year per city for lenders to have a link. Team up with agents in your area that you have relationships with???

"Self updating" Trulia properties as they come in so consumers can search properties.
I am open-minded to ideas,suggestions and "tweaking things" to your liking for a specific city.
The cost will be $20/month or $200/year for agents to have their blog featured in a city with their personal rss link (If you obtain several cities, I will give discounts)
The hard work and dedication that I'm putting into the website will certainly make it a success in California. If you get one listing or sell one home off of the website in 10 years, it's still justified by the small cost!
