When the sun came out a couple of days ago, I was out on Yachats River Road to see a house. Mine eyes were pleasantly surprized by this little gem of a covered bridge! My olfactory was enchanted by the sweet scent of apple blossom mixed with the more earthy waft of swamp lanterns, also known as skunk cabbage, a bright yellow flower that blooms next to rivers. The beach is about 10 minutes drive west of this spot.
I can imagine the clip clop of horses hooves as I venture through the tunnel....enchanting!...Yachats is a small coastal town with a market, hotels, restaurants, 15 minutes south of nearby city of Waldport. Many of the properties in this area east of Yachats are homes with pasture, barn livestock.
Work days like this one remind me how lucky I am to live on the Central Oregon Coast. Call me at 541-270-6758 and you can live here too!
