April 13th marks the 3rd Annual Colorado Springs Outdoor Sports & Recreation Expo. Being held this year at the Plaza of the Rockies, the show features the latest in gear, products and services for your outdoor adventures. Get started on your spring and summer recreation plans now.
Food lovers will delight in the delicious offerings at the upcoming Chef Showcase on April 20th. Presented by Rocky Mountain Healthcare, the best chefs of the region will be on hand to impress with their incredible talent and delectable dishes. As a fundraiser, proceeds from the Chef Showcase go to benefit The People RMHCS Services, another incredible community organization.
Earth Day is coming up April 22nd. Colorado Springs is ready to celebrate the planet and our community, as we come together to help protect the earth, now and in the future. Many activities are happening throughout the region, such as Sustain-a-Fest 2017. A community wide block party is scheduled at the brand new Sustainacenter, our local resource for learning about sustainable practices and how to preserve the environment.
