Located at 7227 S Simms St, Littleton, CO 80127, Chatfield Senior High School draws students for both academic and athletic reasons.
The Jeffco Public Schools website shares these notes about Chatfield:
- More than 30% of students participate in AP courses. In 2015, 72 percent of Chatfield students scored 3 or better on AP exams compared to 61 percent statewide and globally.
- More than 2,100 hours of college credit were awarded in school year 2015-16 through concurrent enrollment with Arapahoe Community College and CU Succeeds. Chatfield is the leader in Jefferson County, with regards to college credits earned through concurrent enrollment and CU Succeeds.
- Chatfield's athletics and activities are among the best in the state. We offer 23 varsity sports and we routinely compete at the state play-off and title levels. Our award winning Performing Arts department has also been recognized both statewide and nationally. Our Marching Band has placed in the top 8 within the state 22 of the last 26 years. The Chatfield Poms team earned a 3rd place finish at a national competition in Orlando Florida.
