Brands can be important, can't they?
I don't know about you, but I take them seriously when it comes to my personal life. My favorite jeans are Lee and my favorite shoes are Nike. My shirts brands vary a bit more, but I definitely have 3 - 4 brands that are my go-to shirts to try on first, especially if I'm in a hurry. I know that, for the most part, I can trust them to be consistently comfortable, practical, and fit properly each time. Don't laugh. I once bought three pairs of jeans of another brand in my size. Took them home, washed them, and hung them in the closet, only to discover a couple of days later that only one of the three fit properly! The other two were too snug to wear! That has never happened with my Lee jeans!
The same with my tennis shoes! I've tried several other brands - high-priced sometimes, inexpensive other times. None are as comfortable or solid as the Nike Structure Triax series. The series changes - but the solid comfort fit continues overall.
There are various brands I am laser focused on when shopping for groceries as well. I'm not super picky on my catsup. But there's only one brand I'll buy for enchilada sauce - Las Palmas! Their green, mild sauce to be specific. I know that when I make my enchiladas, they will have that great flavor we've known and loved for years. My dad started the tradition using their red sauce, which was a bit spicer and sharper than I like. I tried a variety of other brands and didn't like any of them. Then I tried the green sauce by Las Palmas and it was perfect! Again, sweet consistency leads to great results.
I definitely look for that kind of consistency with my real estate business - for myself and for my real estate clients here in Roseville CA and beyond! That's why I picked Keller Williams as my real estate agency to work with. They have a reputation for training, leadership, and positive attitudes - such as putting God first, family second, and business third - that were vital for me. And I'm happy to say that I've found that to be, overall, very true. And I appreciate that and them for that consistency!
I use Apple iPhones and computers to help my real estate clients daily. Now you and I all know that the one consistency about technology any more (ever?) is that it is NOT that consistent. BUT, knowing that, I have found through experience that Apple products are consistently easier for me, personally, to use. Granted, every day there are more and more new things being added to computers and online options that create new learning curves. But for me, personally (yes, I repeated that on purpose ;) )), using Apple for my phone, my tablet, and my computer has helped speed things along a bit since there is less of a learning curve. I appreciate anything that saves me time and I do my best to be just as consistent at helping my clients to save their valuable time, whenever possible.
I also appreciate Old Republic Home Protection. I started using them on my first Roseville home many years ago. I've used them on other homes since. I've also used one other brand (who shall remain nameless) as well as helping friends and family with advice when they were dealing with yet a different brand (whose name I can't remember). I have found that I had problems with the nameless brand, as did my loved ones with their forgotten brand.
But Old Republic, overall, has done a good job faithfully all these many years and I really appreciate them. I like them and trust them enough that I gift each of my real estate buyers and sellers with a one year Platinum home warranty as a thank you for using my real estate services. (Four years if they buy a brand-new home. ;) ). I appreciate that I can share that sweet consistency with my real estate clients and strive to be as consistent in my dealings with each person I work with throughout the days, weeks, and years.
The brands listed above aren't perfect. But that's OK. I'm not perfect either. In fact none of us are. Only one Man ever lived Who was perfect. BUT all the brands listed above work hard to maintain a positive consistency in their service and in their products and that's a strong goal for me as well! How about you?
