Town of Parker - Parker real estate

 The Town of Parker is Southeast of Denver approximately 30 miles with a population just over 50,677.    The City of  Parker is a quaint town that is commonly called a bedroom community.    It has the small town feel, yet has lots to offer.   You will find many locally owned businesses and restaurants.    

 

Buyers looking for Homes for Sale in Parker will find sales in February 2017 saw a significant increase in sales from January, but the weather seemed very spring-like.   In February 2016, sales were only 93, showing how the market has boomed.    February 2015 sales were 113.   Listing inventory is starting to show some signs of life, as inventory is still so low.   Let's look at the sales data from the month of February 2017 for sales of detached single family homes that were recorded for the Town of Parker -

Looking at the early spring buying season, we are looking at the 4th year in a row with brisk sales, multiple offers and home values averaging from 8-10%.  

  Active listings in the price range of $400,000 and less - 

there are currently only 20 listings with 7 days on market.   Most active listings come on the market on Thursday or Friday, and accept showings (and offers) through Sunday evening, with responses on Monday.

 As of today you will find 229 active homes for sale in Parker (ranging from $290,000 to $3,900,000).    There are 284 currently under contract (ranging from $275,000 to $2,745,000.)

I've always thought the town of Parker would be a nice place to live outside of Denver but still within a somewhat decent driving distance.  That's one thing I remember about Denver is people seemed always willing to drive long distances.

Hi Joan --- this is a good introduction and overview of the Parker real estate market.  The town certainly appears to be another alternative for those looking to move in the Denver area.   It's nice to see new construction as part of the inventory available for buyers -- there's something particularly nice about a never-lived-in home.
