Mondays Madness-  Bat Junk in the Trunk-  Fun in Home Inspections

Wenatchee Home Inspections.

Today’s fun is called “Holy Bat Junk in the Trunk”.

It can drive you batty controlling bats. If they are roosting in your attic you will need to deal with it.

Bat guano can pose a few different risks,
1) excessive weight on ceiling structures
2) disease by contaminated materials.

Removal is not risk-free as it may simply spread contamination elsewhere.

Exclusion of Bats is the best way to control bats and is also the safest, both for the bats and the homeowners.

Vern Eaton They are beneficial animals. I tell people to build bat houses also. Great fun for the kids also. Sometimes it takes a little time to have them habitat them.

That's not from a robin - that's from a bat, man.

Once I had a chimney pulled away from the house and turned on my flashlight in the attic to see between 1 and 2 million bats!  The attic floor was inches deep in guaaaaano!  That was the bat cave!

Don't breath the spores from that there poopie.
