Goodbye to Keller Williams

Education & Training with TEAM Hughes Real Estate School REI#ZH1003093

TEAM Hughes Real Estate School had its beginnings at a Pensacola Keller Williams office, and Bob and I collectively taught there for three years.  As our school gained popularity, it became increasingly obvious that limited space and availability would keep us from growing the way we wanted to, so we recently said goodbye to Keller Williams.  Just last week, we partnered with Coldwell Banker Residential Realty in Pensacola and have agreed to open campuses in their Niceville and Panama City Beach offices.

Saying goodbye to Keller Williams was a difficult decision for us.  We enjoyed many  of the people there and after three years, we became comfortable in our surroundings.  In business, though, becoming comfortable could be detrimental to that business and its growth.  Once the decision had been made, TEAM Hughes knew it would be the right one.  We talked with several local real estate brokerage owners and weighed all the pros and cons before selecting Coldwell Banker Residential Realty.

TEAM Hughes still maintains two campuses in Alabama, both of which meet in a Keller Williams Realty building.   It’s not that TEAM Hughes is not an advocate of Keller Williams; it’s that TEAM Hughes has specific goals that must be met, and we will place our campuses where we can grow.  We are an advocate for all real estate companies, as their success depends on our students’ success, which is our No. 1 priority.

We hope the Keller Williams agents will continue to refer students to our school.  Professionalism dictates that there should be no hard feelings and that is the case on our part.  We’re excited about our new venture with Coldwell Banker, and we’ve always believed there is room at the table for all brokerage firms, whether franchised or not.  We hope you will join us in celebrating our move and that you will wish us well.  We will continue to give the best real estate education to our students and will continually strive to improve our courses and our instructors.

As we put off the old and put on the new, and as we say goodbye to Keller Williams, we begin this 2nd quarter with enthusiasm and excitement, while anticipating what the future holds for TEAM Hughes Real Estate School and Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate.  Please consider us for all your real estate education.  There is still room in our April broker’s class, as well as our April One-Week Fast Track in Pensacola.  Give us a call or register online.  We’re here to serve you!
