I haven't done an update in awhile but the last two days have been highly motivated. The original post talked about my obsession with health apps on my Apple Watch and the ability to set daily parameters for my goals. One goal I set was a minimum of 700 active calories burned each day and 1000 over the weekend. The last two days have been stellar with 750 active calories burned by 9:30 AM. The day starts early with hydration, then some meditation and yoga stretching and then on to spin class. For me three things are important not only for my health but also my business plan that creates brain power. Those three things are hydration since the brain contains a lot of water, and blood and oxygen flow. This is why we have to work hard the older we get because it is so easy to say I'll do it tomorrow and then tomorrow comes with another reason to procrastinate. This is why you have to be fiercely determined to fight that number one enemy, old age. My point is I upped my game because of my 70th birthday coming up and two results of being fierce will most certainly happened before the end of the year. I will have set a record for income and profit, and I will also feel ageless. I need my brain to be in top form to accomplish my business goals, and that is on point. The second is a combination of mind, body, and spirit. I don't feel my age and I can say truthfully that I don't have any preconceived notion about how I should feel except to tell you I feel fantastic. From my vantage point I can report that you are as young as you feel and I feel pretty young.
A couple of other part of this I would like to report on. I am looking at smart water bottles that work with an app that will measure the water intake into your body. I love tech and why not make life as easy as possible just like with the watch. Next week I will be reporting on the health challenge from our second home in Florida and will be seeing what our five mile beach walk we do at least once a day measures in calories burned. To paraphrase Cyndi Lauper, Boys just want to have fun while they burn off the fat. So until next week please get on the health challenge whether you blog about it or not and always remember, the older you get the more fierce you need to be. Live long and prosper.
