Update on The Preserve Community in Carlsbad April 2017
The new planned community of The Preserve is making progress again, after what seemed to be a slow period in construction likely due to all the rain.
If you have an interest in the new construction in Carlsbad you might want to read about the 6 things buyers must know about buying new construction. You might be surprised how it can differ from buying a resale Carlsbad home, and there are important issues to be aware of.
First, the update on the town homes in Agave, the only village in The Preserve where homes are available, and they appear to be selling well. The MLS is showing 6 homes for sale, priced from $502,990 to $559,990 with 1420 SF up to 1681 SF. It’s possible there are other homes available that are not posted in the MLS. The plan is for 88 2-story town homes to be built in multiple phases.
As of this writing 4 Agave town homes are pending according to the MLS, priced from $504,990 to $550,990, with 1420 SF up to 1681 SF.
Preparations are well under way in the other areas where The Preserve will have single family detached homes and 2 other villages, and several other buildings are under construction including the apartments (from what I have been told) in the northeast corner by the freeway.
More updates will be forthcoming as I get more information on these additional neighborhoods including pricing.
