A Few Errors in Judgement

“Failure: A few errors in judgement repeated everyday.

Success: a few simple disciplines practiced every day.”

Jim Rohn 1930 – 2009, American Entrepreneur,

Author, Motivational Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

A few errors in judgement

What you on a daily basic takes root . . . .  and creates momentum in the direction of your daily activities.

An error in judgement can seem insignificant at the time . . . . and many are. The real concerns about a error in judgement . . . . is it a onetime thing? Or does it get repeated?

Errors in judgement that are repeated become a habit . . . . in those habits you create a negative momentum in your career.

The fact is that people do make errors in judgement . . . . the key is not to repeat them. When you make an error in judgement use it as a learning experience . . . . and vow not to make them again.

When you make the commitment not to repeat an error of judgement in the future you create a positive experience that plays forward to help you to avoid the same condition in the future.

A few errors of judgement will create negative habits that will become a problem in moving your career forward. Think before you act will help you to avoid errors in judgement.

Oh Lou Ludwig you had me at Jim Rohn.

I have listened and read almost everything Jim every published.

He's got to be one of the most quotable men of our lifetime and I was pleased to have seen him before he died. He was a good friend to us at Buffini & Company .

Wonderful post!

So often, unfortunately, someone with an otherwise stellar life is judged by one single act of poor judgment.

We all make mistakes and that is goes for ALL of us. The challenge is to not repeat the same ones.

Hi Lou --- sometimes it's just another second of thought that makes the difference in succeeding versus the alternative.

Lou agreed. The quicker one catches the error in judgement and moves to a more productive practice the quicker things will move forward in a positive direction.
