More homes came to the market than went under contract or sold over the past month, which means inventory is increasing. However, with many market times in the single digits that increase in inventory is not nearly enough to keep up with demand. The seller's market continues strong and with the spring market just starting this is great news if you are thinking of making a move. The median sales price for condos in Bucktown was $479,500.

Townhomes continue to sell quickly. The home that just went under contract has a market time of only 22 days so far. There are a few more listings since last month, but they have such a variety of price ranges and sizes that none of them are quite in the same market.

Quite a few single family homes have come to the market. In fact, of all the homes listed for over $400k, whether they are active, under contract, or just sold, most have not been on the market for more than 2 months. There are many buyers looking for these listings, so even in the busy spring market savvy sellers can look forward to a quick sale. The median sales price for single family homes was $1,050,000.
