i used to live in windsor park when i was first married 42 years ago. in fact, we lived at 73-11 bell blvd.

back then our rent was 135.00 a month and that included everything.

however, the place was loaded with roached. and we had to move. it was a real hell hole. however, when they cleaned up their act, we came back and rented a 2 b.r. apt. there for the next 6 years. it was great.

is it still easy to go shopping there. there was a butcher, pizza shop, cleaners, laundry, drug store, lunconette, all houses of worship, you did not need a car. the express bus was right on the corner of 73rd ave and bell blvd.

it was a great place to live. those condos or coops what ever they are called now is certainly not worth that kind of money. we now live in fl. and for that kind of money we live on the water with our own boat and 3 br condo and 2 baths plut a hughe kitchen, etc. well you get the point.

wow what a difference 20 years can make. go know that those apts. would be changed ino condos/coops and be the price of a mansion in fl.

be well.
