My own trajectory through the Real Estate World was altered a few months ago when I was offered a chance to start teaching with Carolinas Educational Services, or CES (www.carolinaseducationalservices.com). I've been teaching for 12 years, and this opportunity was just what I was looking for.
As many of you know from reading my blogs, education and teaching are passions of mine, and I LOVE to teach classes. It's even more fulfilling when I know that I'm helping others improve the quality of their businesses and lives.
Yesrterday, I was teaching at the Keller Williams Western Upstate market center (Anderson, SC). I taught an all day course on Internet Lead Generation, and one of the things that I present is blogging. I promote Active Rain, not for any personal gain, but because it has been such a WONDERFUL community to belong to. Many of my students told me that they would start blogging, and, of course, I left wondering which of them would actually do it.
Much to my delight, I received THREE emails today from people who had taken the class. Two of them sent me links to their first AR blogs, and one asked me some additional questions about blogging, with the intent to start soon. Those emails made me feel great, and reading those first AR blogs brought back memories of how I had started so long ago.
I love to know that I've helped expose them to new ways of marketing, as well as new methods of personal expression. I can't wait to see where their blogging journeys take them!
