Hello my old friends, I have not posted a blog on ActiveRain in over a year. I believe it is about 16 month. During this time I have been to the heights of business and some very low, lows in life.
More on that in a later blog, why I am back? I am about to be 30 years old in 52 days. Still young, but over the last year my thinking has dramatically changed. My life used to be about expanding as fast as possible, to make the most money. Now I am still doing that, but with a bigger purpose, long-term, slowly grown success.
Still doing real estate and building my teams up. Currently living in Las Vegas, licensed again and working on Winter Group Las Vegas. Also already have my license in Illinois active again, though not actively growing the team there. Winter Group Chicago, will have its time, but probably not until next year. Both Blanca and I recently finished California real estate school and plan on putting our effort in Orange County later this Spring.
It makes it just a little easier doing two teams that are only a 4-hour drive apart instead of a 29-hour drive! Plus we just had this awesome new logo made!
Also officially filled the LLC papers in Nevada to start up our new company Real Estate Web Tech, a company that instead of selling leads and services that don't work, teaches agents how to market with today's technology.
We have changed brokers, our Las Vegas team is with Realty One Group, our Chicago team is still with Keller Williams. I am very excited to get back to the grind.
This year is the year of content for me, I was never big on video and am stepping out of my comfort zone and taking a crazy step...I've picked up Daily Vlogging this year. For those that don't know daily Vlogging is putting a video out, every day, about your day.
The idea to commit to this for me came from Gary Vaynerchuck, he says it is about documenting. With where we are right now, and where we want to get, it will be one heck of a business journey over the next six month and beyond. Building a business is never easy, we are building (again) a real estate team and a tech company at the same time.
Here is the link to my YouTube channel for anyone that wants to follow the crazy journey.
I'll also be posting a blog here several times a week and picking back up on the real estate marketing posts.
Let this crazy journey begin again!
