Good Friday 2017 in Stevens Point 
If you find yourself in the Stevens Point Area on Good Friday, April 14th - here are some of the services you will be able to attend.
Commemoration of the crucifixion, passion and death of Jesus Christ which includes, scripture, prayer and veneration of the Cross. There is not a Mass said on Good Friday, but rather a service which has been in practice in the Catholic Church since the seventh century. This adoration of Christ’s cross, is shown in the form of kneeling before the crucifix and kissing it, as a belief that this is the tool bringing us our salvation.
