Aldo Leopold: Wisconsin Pioneer in Forestry and Wildlife Ecology
Recently, I shared a blog post on Sauk County Wisconsin, a place that one of our nations pioneer Foresters and Wildlife Ecologists went to commune with nature during his final years as a professor at the University of Wisconsin.
Realizing that many outside of the Natural Resource professions may have never heard of this man I thought that it my be good to share a few words on him as well as a video.
If you ever have a chance I would suggest that you pick up a copy of his writings from this weekend retreat, The Sand County Almanac.
Enjoy the video, I am sure they can give a much better intro to Aldo Leopold than I could.
