Before & After Video - Staging a Townhome to Sell, Colorado Springs

Think staging isn't necessary? If you were a buyer and only saw this town home BEFORE would you make an offer? Front Porch Team Real Estate & Property Styling staged this town home after the tenant moved out and received a cash offer within hours on the first day.

Today's real estate market is hot, no doubt. And, to maximize your chance to get top dollar you'll want to pull out all the stops. Do you want to risk getting less than what your home is worth?

If you're thinking about selling your Colorado Springs home, please give me a call. I'd be happy to help walk you through our comprehensive marketing and staging services. As part of my service, we stage ALL of our listings with full access to my company's staging inventory. To find out how I can help stage your home to sell contact: Kim Gaston, REALTOR® Front Porch Team Real Estate & Property Styling (719)661-6987 www.frontporchrealestatecolorado.com. Kim, some houses definitely need a stager to prepare a home for the market.   It can be miraculous (like your before and after photos)!

Kim, what an incredible transformation, and what a difference the window treatments made allowing all that natural sunlight to come into that Colorado Springs townhouse!  Your sellers have to love you for the difference you make with your tastefully exquisite staging choices for their homes!!!

PS- I just loved that music and half expected John Denver to start singing.

Hi Joan Cox, yes it was really dark and depressing. Not enticing buyers to come stay awhile.  Thanks for your feedback.

Good eye, Bruce Walter.  Removing heavy drapes and adding white and soft blue sheers made the most dramatic difference. I appreciate your kind remarks, glad you enjoyed the music :)

Thanks so much Kat Palmiotti. Yes, I completely agree. Inventory in this price range is low, but you could be leaving money on the table if your home doesn't look irresistible.

Wow...went from an over-stuffed dark area to a nice bright home. It even looks larger.

Thank you Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 airRErealty.com. Looking larger =  more square footage = more $$, a good motto to stage by.

Your video certainly shows how you have used your skills to showcase a home that has a lot to offer.  I especially love how you used light to show what is there.  One of my pet peeves with some sellers is the lack of bright lighting.

Mine too, Anna Hatridge. We added a $6 can uplight in the basement right under one of those ficus trees everyone has - its amazing how it took that room to "hotel worthy".

Thank you Lou Ludwig . Our goal is to sell quick and sell high.

Hi Roy Kelley, thanks so much for your kind remarks. I treat each listing as if it were my own home. Every seller's home should be presented to its fullest potential and I love identifying how best to do that.

Hi Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl.  I make it a point to stage the heck out of my listings so there's no doubt we get the highest offer. Thanks for stopping by!

You got it, Tricia La Motte, CRS! No buyer is eager to put in an offer when the home resembles a cave.

Loved the visuals of the before and after.  Not everyone can see a room in any way other than what's in front of them.

That's so true, Pamela. If I'm doing a consultation, I'll suggest to the homeowner to remove everything from the room, then bring back only what they really need to use on a daily basis. One appliance on the kitchen counter, one file cabinet, think minimalistic. You'll have a space that reads larger = more sq footage = more money.

Great job.  Noone really realizes what the houses look like when we first walk through them.  I always take before and after photos so I can show my clients the transformations.
