Easter Brunch at the Beach
It was another spectacular day in Carlsbad, and rather than fight the crowds at the local restaurants, and not wanting to get all dressed up in Easter finery, we opted for a casual brunch on the bluff overlooking the Carlsbad coastline.
The beaches were crowded but we lucked out with a parking spot. And we enjoyed watching the pelicans flying overhead, enjoying the coastal breezes.

Beautiful alternative to spending a peaceful Easter Sunday! I loved the purple flowers, the view of the beach through the eye of your camera and we got to see a birds eye view too!

Good morning Jeff. It was raining to beat the band Sunday morning. The clouds and rain cleared just enough for us to have our Easter egg hunt. It turned out to be a wonderful day

Love watching the pelicans drift on the breezes, and then swooping down over the waves. Great cliff top views, a relaxing weekend from the photos.

They are fun to watch flying above, or right along the water. There's a big lagoon there, too and they like to hang out there by the aquafarm Nick & Trudy Vandekar
