What's happening in your local market?

If anyone would like to share some info it would be helpful to everyone when discussing the market with clients.  I am sure we all agree that reality is not always portrayed in the media.

I have been hearing from other agents that it is busy but buyers are reluctant to put in offers even when they feel they are low.

I just closed something a few weeks ago that was priced average and sold with multiple offers.

Thanks

George the media keeps on wanting to pool us in with all of the depressed areas around the country, but that is not Connecticut, we are holding our own very well.

That's why I am asking.

If only we could get them to do a true regional report other than a general categorization on a scroll across the bottom of the screen.

I've been getting a lot of activity on my current listings.  I've also gotten calls from buyers that I worked with some time ago asking if I think the market has bottomed out yet?

Thanks

George
