  •         Hickory Gun & Knife Show • Hickory Convention Center • 9am to 5pm • C & E Gun show is dedicated to producing the most professional, safest and ethical gun shows in the country. Adults $9 which covers both days. Children 12 & under are free.  
  •         Arbor Day Celebration • Newton City Hall • 10am • Free refreshments and seedlings will be available for attendees.
  •         Bikefest • George Poston Park • 10am to 2pm • George Poston Park is home to over 10 miles of mountain bike trails and was named a National Recreation Trail in 2015. BIKEFEST will feature live music from Stepside Deluxe, food trucks, bike demos, local bike shop vendors, FREE guided trail rides, mountain bike skills clinic, and much more.   •         Stop Animation Workshop • Charles R. Jonas Library • 6 to 8pm • Create your own movie with an I-Pad and the library provides the props. Ages 10 to 16.
