CHRISTINE DEVINE: Los Angeles News Anchor-Producer
Christine Devine is a veteran television news anchor in Los Angeles with a passion for empowering young people.
Christine anchors the weeknight newscasts at 5pm and 10pm on Fox 11 News. She has 16 Emmys, including the prestigious Governors Award. In 2015, Christine marked her 25th anniversary at KTTV.
Off the job, she produces music, music videos, and fashion shoots. She has received honors in film festivals. Many of her projects have a message that touch on issues such as alcoholism, girl power, black history, and youth empowerment.
On the job, Christine has hosted a weekly adoption segment, Wednesday’s Child. It has helped more than 500 children in foster care find adoptive families. In 2012, she was named in Los Angeles Magazine among the “50 Women Changing LA.”
Christine authored a biography ”Finding a Forever Family, A News Anchor’s Notebook.”
Christine is a proud Sun Devil graduate from Arizona State University and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism. Christine is a member of the prestigious Board of Trustees.
In Hollywood, Christine has played reporter roles in the following movies: Independence Day, Cable Guy, and Wag The Dog. She’s been seen on the following series: American Horror Story, 24 Legacy, Beverly Hills 90210, and Prison Break.
Christine calls herself a “cheerleader for children. She mentors kids and young adults under her unofficial concept “TEAM WC – #WeCan #WestCoast. Their community service projects include speaking at Juvenile Hall, a mural at a domestic violence shelter, and refurbishing apartments at a crisis center for girls.
Christine is married to actor/musician Sean McNabb. He first gained his fame in the rock band Quiet Riot.
