Old Fashion Techniques Work, Ask for the Business

Social media, contact management programs, develop Save ing your sphere of influence are all systems that work in getting real estate business. One thing that is still the same is that people want to know you want their business and they like being asked. Some of the simplest tools in the real estate business still work. That is making a phone call, sending mailouts and post cards and coming face to face with prospects and asking for the business.

It is easy to get convinced that we have to buy into lead programs or have fancy systems in place. Real estate is still a people business and people want to know you have time for them and care about their situation. That is something we should never overlook.

The next time you need new business, go out and meet some new people, call those on your past client list, send out some just listed or sold postcards, mail out a newsletter, look through your old files. You may be surprised in how many leads you will get and you didn't have to pay for any of them just your time or a little postage investment.
