I know that some of the national trainers in real estate tell agents that farming is a waste of time. I can tell you as an ex manager at Coldwell banker that I had 2 agents who made over $500K per year ..farming. But, I guess it was a waster of time. The problem is that agents don't get it enough effort or enough time. Once of the simple things you can do is start with what I call your personal farm. And , before you say you don't have enough names, consider the following to be added to your list
- Friends
- At church
- Neighbors
- At work
- Hobbies
- Civic Groups
- Relatives
- Acquaintances
- Neighbors
- At work
- Hobby
- College Alumni
- Distant Relatives
- People you have met but not close
- through friends - friends of friends
- Friends of relatives
- Through Kids
- Their parents
- Teacher
- School
- Music
- Coaches
- Who do you do business with
- Hair
- Doctors/dentist
- Car mechanics
- Others
- Exs
- Ex neighbors
- Friends you lost touch with
- Ex Employers and co-workers
- Ex-Spouses
- Roommates
If you will take the time to actually work on this list, you will windup with 200 or more names.
