Community Garage Sale - Emerald Preserve / Sumerlin subdivision is hosting a community garage sale THIS Saturday, April 29th from 8:oo AM to 1:00 PM. Many families are involved, come on out! Earlier ones this month in Williams Walk and Bartram Preserve were both successful with many attendees and participation. Please let me know in advance if your subdivision is doing one to email the neighborhood as part of our newsletter.
Bartram Springs Elementary - Parents with kids entering Kindergarten - Bartram Springs Elementary is having a Kindergarten Round Up at Bartram Springs Elementary Cafeteria Thursday, May 4, 2017, 6:00 – 7:00 PM. If you have a child entering Kindergarten, go here for full flyer and details and try to attend.
MANY New Shops & Restaurants Coming to Bartram Park - There are several new shops that have been announced as coming to the area soon. Construction on the new large scale development at the intersection of Racetrack Rd and Bartram Park Blvd is well underway, with major outlets including Walmart, Bass Pro Shop, Home Depot, Chik-Fil-A and a Junior's Seafood Restaurant & Grill already signed up.
In addition, more shops are planned to open on the other end of the community. Dairy Queen also is headed to the Bartram Park area. Plans filed with the St. Johns River Water Management District show the ice-cream shop could open at 13966 Village Lake Circle in Bartram Village. It would occupy a 3,290-square-foot building that would be developed on almost 1.7 acres Behind Dunkin Donuts. Also, First Watch Daytime Cafe is planning to be build out a stand alone in front of Tijuana Flats. La Nopalera is going into the old Daruma restaurant along with 2-3 other retail. So much is going on in our area.
